SAD SACK

sad sack
martyr of a man
crying in the flowers
wet in dreams of mother
your sadness is in the metal
of unfulfilled longing
your colors are in the flowers
of unsung song
your drink is the spray
of open wind
hissing thru the cracks
of your broken heart

sad sack
your garden
is my garbage
your garden is my seed
your flowers, in the mist,
are still waving
tho' the seeds
have dried to nothing  ##
